In 1921, Mao Zedong, leader of the Communist took control of the Communist movement in 1927. The Communists were fighting against the Nationalists led by Jiang Jieshi. From October 1934 to October 1935 the Long March occurred which was when leader Mao Zedong and the communists go on a 6,000 mile march into the hits of northern China to escape the Nationalists. There were many main events that occurred between the years of 1946 through 1949 in the Communist Revolution in China. For example, on December 25, 1947 Mao Zedong put forward the famous 10 principles of military operation. Also, on June 26, 1946 the Koutintang army launched an attack. The last main event was in May 1949 Chiang with the remnants at his government.
